Heavy Sixer Serial Numbers
Atari 2600 - Heavy Sixer, Sunnyvale, Woody, Vader, 2600Jr Rainbow and Black. Buy an Atari 2600, for sale on ebay. Oct 15, 2013 If you haven't read my other post i wanted to get a list going on 6'ers serial numbers to see who here has the oldest. However if your label says Atari Wong, Hong Kong or anything else, it's a certainty that your VCS is a Light Sixer. If your CX2600 was produced for PAL regions the label is likely to be without the FCC regulations needed for sale in the US and usually features the letter U after the part number, a good way of spotting a PAL. My Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer is a Sunnyvale, California model with serial number 82393E. Looking at the sticker on the RF unit inside the machine it reads CA010410 on top and below that it says 273S7726. From what I’ve heard that means it was made the 26th week of 1977.
Bumping up this thread, as I was trying to determine how old one of my heavy sixer's is. I have a CIB beautiful Sears Heavy Sixer with matching PS, paddles and CX40 sticks (unsure if they were packed with CX10's or CX40's). This one I've got up on eBay - it's beautiful but I already have two player consoles and don't really need another. That one is 79351T. The second one I just purchased in a bundle. It's currently filthy and not functioning. I believe the voltage regulator is shot and needs some general maintenance but should be able to get it up and running shortly.
Picked this up for $30 with 25 games! Love these kinds of hauls. This one's serial # is 94110E, which seems pretty early. CAN A MOD MOVE THIS TOPIC TO THE HEAVY SIXER THREAD? I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THAT THREAD. I have a Sears TeleGames that an idiot damaged while packaging it.
Since it was cheap as free, I didn't really care. But dang this is bad.

However, there's *enough* to see what the serial might have been. Here are some pictures: Owwww. The numbers I can make out are: 7?95?S (7?954S)?

Also (7?955S) or screw it (7?957S) I have no idea what this is, but it seems important. So here it is. This hasn't seen light in over 30 years. Here's what's interesting: No Channel select switch, or hole. This seems to line up with others with serial numbers similar to this. Ohh, I need to clean this up somehow.
There's a number here: CA010410 273S7732 If there are any more pictures you all need, I can provide them. Seems to be a well-made unit, and I've cleaned the case (save for the bottom) and it looks as good as new (save for the switches having some dull metal). Edited by Csonicgo, Fri Oct 27, 2017 2:00 PM.
