Ps3 Controller Pcsx2 Mac Yosemite

IPhoneJailbreak

Hi there, So I've followed a ton of online guides of how to connect a ps3 controller to a mac, but none of it seems to work for me. The ps3 controller connects fine. YOSEMITE And MAVERICKS. 0.9.8 and got a usb connected dualshock ps3 controller. PCSX2 Emulator Configure Controller (Mac 10.9. Connect a Playstation 3 Controller to a Mac in OS X El.

Hello, I have been having a devil of a time getting my PS3 controller to pair. It looks like it's connected, it shows up in the menubar list of connected peripherals. But in all of the games I have used it with successfully in the past, it does not work. It also does not show up in the Bluetooth System Preferences. I have tried resetting the PRAM, resetting the controller with the indented button on the bottom, removing the Bluetooth plist in the system library. All with no success.

My Apple keyboard and Magic Mouse work fine. The PS3 controller works fine on my other Macs.

What the hey hey? Any other plists I should remove? Its a brand new iMac that came with Mavericks installed so I updated it to Yosemite right after I took it out of the box. Would a clean install correct this issue? Thanks for any help! IMac 27' Late 2013, OS X Yosemite (10.10), 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M Posted on Nov 5, 2014 6:56 PM. Het, thc1138, Im having the exact, and I mean exact same issues!

It works fine with Steam, and all games associated with it. However, it only appears in the menu bar drop down menu as connected but not what so ever in my bluetooth preferences. I have no had to pair it either, and no third part app such as Enjoy2 can configure it. However it does appear as the device is connected. Here are the bluetooth diagnostics for my controller that I found under the system information app. Hopefully someone can shine some light on the issue. I've got no idea why support would be removed when it was working so well in Mavericks.

I have tried the controller on two separate macs both running 10.10.2 and no dice the symptons are: 1) Not visible in BT pref pane. 2) Visible in bluetooth menu (as the bluetooth address) 3) Press the PS button and the bluetooth menu entry becomes named correctly ('PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller') 4) It will then highlight bold in the menu and appear connected. 5) After several minutes it will disconnnect. 6) Whilst it is connected the lights continue to flash quickly and the controller is invisible to any app on the system. Is apple really is doing it's best to cripple gaming on it's platform? No dedicated GPUs in laptops. Removing support for controllers that once worked well.
