Welcome to the Samsung forum on CNET! Samsung worked with CNET to create a forum where people can ask questions and talk about all Samsung products and get help with everything from HDTVs, Smart TVs, home theater components, phones, cmaeras to monitors and printers. Nvivo 10 Free Download Crack on this page. This forum is staffed by Samsung employees, but as we have seen in the past, often the most helpful answers come from CNET forum members themselves so please don't consider this just a Q and A with Samsung.
This is a CNET forum and Samsung is here to be part of the conversation. Hi everyone, So, we purchased a brand new Samsung 65' 4K UHD curved smart TV just this past September, only 3 months ago.
One evening 2 weeks ago, we were sitting in our living room watching this TV, when the screen suddenly began to fade and then went completely out. When we tried to get it to turn back on, the screen would just keep flashing and an internal crack on the left side of the screen would flash. The only time we see it is when the screen briefly flashes.
There are absolutely NO physical cracks anywhere on the actual screen. I did some research and found that this is likely a thermal crack caused by some sort of internal hardware failure. There has been literally NO physical damage to this TV whatsoever. It just suddenly went out while we were watching it and that is when this internal crack started flashing on the screen. We have been in a complete battle with Samsung these past 2 weeks. We have been dealing with their so-called 'executive office' and twice they have scheduled two different local repair techs to come and look at our TV, only to cancel them both times at the very last minute, claiming that there was physical damage to our TV.
We are FUMING!!!!!! There is NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO THIS TV!!!!!! It has been sitting on a TV stand in our living room since we first got it 3 months ago!
It has not been moved, hit, dropped, or even touched! Now, Samsung is accusing us of physical damage and is refusing to do ANYTHING to help us. Dictionary Of Entomology Pdf. We spent $1500 on this piece of junk. We have already reported them to our state's Attorney General Consumer Protection office, who is now sending them a formal notice of our complaint and is giving them 10 days from the date of their letter to resolve this issue with us.
I also filed a BBB complaint, but that only resulted in yet another phone call from their completely useless executive office, who once again refused to help us and accused us of damaging the TV. What I am wondering is if anyone knows of any good news media outlets that we can take our story to. I want to get this story out there for any many people as possible to hear so that they can know to avoid the Samsung brand and to make them aware of how they treat their customers. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable and I will not stop until we get our TV replaced! In the meantime, we just dropped another $1000 to replace this TV. We bought an LG 4K TV this time. Samsung is no longer allowed in this house!
It's funny you say that. My husband and I actually still have our old 37' CRT TV that we bought when we first moved in together way back in the summer of 2000. Ironically, it's a Samsung!
Even almost 17 years later, it still works like the day we bought it. Technology is certainly becoming lower and lower in quality as the years go. It's like these companies are putting their products though any sort of quality assurance testing whatsoever, other than making sure that the thing turns on, if they even do that! This TV was never even touched and incurred no physical damage whatsoever. It literally just went out while we were watching it and now we have this interior crack that just showed up completely on its own and Samsung is claiming that there is physical damage, which is a huge crock of you-know-what. When we ordered our replacement this week (LG), we decided NOT get a curved this time.
