Download Sound Roland Vsc 88 For Windows

Substitute for Roland Sound Canvas I have been using Calkwalk since 3.0. My last upgrade was to Cakewalk PRO 8 and have never found a reason to switch until now unfortunately. I have had to purchase a new computer with Windows 7 and Pro 8 doesn't work, more importantly neither does VSC with has been a can't-do-without program. I write and edit my midi files in Cakewalk Pro 8 and use a Roland SC-8850 for live performance and the VSC on my home computer for listening and editing. Without a the VSC I would have to drag my rack up the stairs from my van and hook everything up like on stage..I am more inclined to become a pimp or janitor before I tackle that.
I am hoping that someone out there has a remedy. I have downloaded Sonar 8 and it appears alot more complicated than my good old pro 8 and have not been able to download any kind of virtual controller that will play the midi files through my computer speakers like the VSC did so effortlessly.
Mar 3, 2011 - I've been using the Roland VSC (virtual sound canvas) for years for the majority of my midi playback needs in both Band In A Box and Sibelius. If the 32bit version of Ubuntu will allow me to install and use the Roland VSC in conjunction with Sibelius or Band in a Box (previously installed on Windows).
I downloaded Loop B and installed and it shows up in my midi devices both input and output but when I play the files I hear nothing. Thanx, Donny. Pro E To Step Converter Yoga. Thanx, Donny The good news is Sonar comes with a sound canvas virtual sound module called the TTS-1. All you need to do is add that to your project and set your midi tracks output to it. If 16 channels is not enough just add another instance, you can have more then one! Any modern computer can run a silly number of those things, you should have no problems with CPU usage. If you can run Windows 7 at all you have enough power LOL! Note: You won't see the output selection on the MIDI tracks till you add the TTS-1 to the project. Then it will show up on the output I/O pull down list on the MIDI track.
